3 Months

I can't belive our little lady is 3 months!

At this stage in Annie's life she is:

1. Laughing at anyone who dances around her (it makes for some pretty crazy moves)

2. Always wanting to stand up

3. Rolling over from stomach to back

4. Loves her blanket (and loves to eat it)

5. Has grown out of her 3 month clothes and is now in her 6 month stuff. I tell her to stop growning and it does not work.

6. Smiling at everyone

7. Slowing down in the spit up department (not so much laundry)

8. Yelling and screaming that follow with a funny smile that seems to say, "Was that me? WOW I'm loud!"

Cannot get enough of this little girly girl.

Christmas 2012

Merry Christmas!

We had such a great Christmas. It is always so fun to get with family and enjoy being together. This year we were at my parents house for Christmas Eve and Christmas Morning and then headed to Drew's parents house. For Christmas I got a new camera and I LOVE taking pictures with it! So this post will be a lot of pictures because I of course need to try this new toy out.

Annie on her first Christmas morning

Drew is pretty wide eyed for our early morning. We both woke up at 5:30 in the morning (Annie was still fast asleep) and we couldn't go back to sleep cause we were so excited. Sometime you just don't grow out of everything:)

This year we switched it up and instead of staying at my parents house and waiting for Estee and her family to come over we all trucked over to Mendon. These turkeys were everywhere! I honestly haven't seen so many in my entire life.

When we got there Cooper was WAY excited to show us his christmas present. Its a good thing Santa brought him these costumes because I don't think he could wait until Halloween next year.

 Cooper as Iron Man

Classic picture of Lindsey. In that moment she is telling me "Probably should stop taking pictures. Just trying to get dinner ready." Love that she is part of our family!

Happy Eli. What a Stud!

Super excited to open up a new pair of boots!

Getting some snuggles from Grandma Mona

Laura made Annie the cutest boots ever! She is sooo talented! They go great with the amazing beanie that she made as well!

Annie loves her new Thermals from Grandma Mona. She is one spoiled little lady.

All of that fun made someone very very tired.

Now here's for a Happy New Year from our little family to yours!

SO behind...

Yep... way behind! This seems to be my story these last 2 months. Being a mom has been the best, however it does seem to take up most of my day. Annie is becoming a smiling butter ball and all I want to do is just be with her every second! Right now she is sleeping soundly in her bed so i decided to try to catch up on whats been happening since I last posted.

October went by quickly and to be honest I don't think I remember any of it. Between getting Annie on a schedule and me trying to recover from the BIG ordeal of labor I was pretty much out of it.

November was a blast! We had thanksgiving at Drew's parents. It was a good time with good food and good laughs. Craig made 4 pies: cherry, blueberry, pecan, pumpkin creme. You better believe I had a piece of them all. I am still recovering from that day.

December is here! 2012 went by so quickly. Finals are over and drew is done with school! This was such a crazy semester for him. We learned that having a baby in the middle of a hard semester was tough! But it is over now and we are loving being together as a family.

As for me I feel like I'm finally getting the hang of things. Annie is such a happy baby. She had some bad acid reflux and cried a lot for the first 5-6 weeks until we figured out what it was, poor girl. Now she is on a prescription and is a totally different baby! Thank goodness for modern medicine.

This picture was when Annie started to smile a lot. I can't get enough of those cheeks!

We had our annual candy day this year. It is one of my favorite days and I look forwards to it every year. Its a great way to start off the holiday season.

Check out those dimples!

About a week and a half ago Annie found her hand. It has become one of her favorite past times. Sometimes it makes her gag and she spits up, so I have to regulate.

We went for our first walk! She loved it... well she fell asleep the minute we started off. I would too if I was snuggled in so warm.

Drew and Annie are good buddies. Drew is such a good Dad! Annie smiles so quickly when he talks to her.

A full belly!

My friend Camie had her baby this month and we went to visit baby Stella. Its so crazy how fast they grow. Annie was that small just 2 months ago. Stop growing please.

Gram has the touch.

Annie Mae

Well its official! We are parents! Our little Annie came into the world on Oct. 15th at 9:45 AM. She weighed 7 lbs. 15 ounces, and was 20 inches long. She is now 3 and 1/2 weeks old, weighs 9 lbs 6 ounces and is becoming more and more fun every day! The only problem is that she is growing to fast! I almost started to cry today as I looked at her in her crib because she as already changed so much.

(sorry about the leg in this picture...)

Annie was ready to come out 5 days early. I was more then excited when I started to have contractions early on the morning of October 15th. I woke up to a contraction at 2:30 AM. It hurt really bad but i just decided to lay there for a moment before waking Drew. Another one came 5 minutes later. I woke Drew up and told him it was game time. He just rolled over and said, "Not yet... Just go back to sleep." I started to laugh and said no seriously this might be it. He told me to time it for a while so i did for 30 minutes. The contractions were coming fast and a lot harder then they were 30 minutes before. I got in the shower to see if it would help me calm down. I got out of the shower and was in so much pain I  threw up. Drew started packing my bag (that is how prepared we were) while i sat at the edge of my bed in some serious pain! Two hours went by and by 4:30 I made Drew stop doing the dishes (Drew was doing the dishes for some reason...) and help me in the car. When I got to the hospital i was dilated to a 5. They asked me if i wanted a epidural. I said HECK YES. It was so nice for about 20 minutes... then it stopped working. It sure didn't work at all, just numbed my left leg and lets just say it was one painful experience. At least i know i can have natural births now:).
I ended up pushing for only 25 minutes and out she came at 9:47 AM. It was the most amazing experience I have ever witnessed. Drew helped me so much with the calm and warming person he his.

Annie only about 20 minutes old

I couldn't believe how much hair she had. I thought for sure my baby would be bald until she was 3, cause I sure was.

Annie came home with us the next day. That night was a interesting one. Pretty sure i got about 1 hour of sleep. However she is sleeping so much better now (thanks Estee and Linds for helping me out with her schedule).

She was born with the best dimples! I just love when she shows them off.

Grandpa Cal teaching me how to hold her:)

Oh yeah and let me know if you want me to add you to my blog when I switch over to private.
