I think we've landed in Paradise

A couple of days ago we all jumped in cars and head to our Friend Cheyene's house. Her house was amazing because her back yard was the ocean and you get an amazing view of the sunset. I was a perfect day to watch the sunset. Not only was the sky amazing, but eagles were fishing right by us! They were literally only 20 feet away from us scooping up fish from the ocean! I had never in my life seen anything like it.

One again Drew was my model while I took pictures. I was directing his hand around the sun but it was so bright I couldn't see it myself. So when we looked at the picture it was a little off of where it needed to be but hey it still looks pretty sweet.
Ok P.S... does anyone know how to get some people as friends when they are "for invited friends only?" Do i just need to contact them or can i leave a little message on their blog? I'm so confused! Basically Erin or Ashley if you see this I got your messages, but i want to write and say hi and see your pics... but i'm lost! haha

Knudson Cove

This past week we all rented a skiff at Knudson Cove and headed off the a Island that has a really nice beach to play on. The Island was called Tatoosh Island. We made a fire and had fun lifting up rocks and finding crabs and oysters.
Drew is really big into the show Man vs. Wild on the Discovery Channel. So every time we go out into some wilderness area we always have to try a new and crazy thing. Here at the beach we gathered oysters and cooked them in the fire and they honestly were pretty tasty!
We had to take a few trips back with all the people that we had with us. We were the last ones to go back to the cars. While we were waiting there were about 10 porpoises that came right up the shore next to us! I was so excited!

Flying High to the Misty Fjords

Drew and I got off work early a couple of days ago so we decided we would try to get on a free tour that we could get from working for Holland America. So one of our managers helped us get on a float plane and we were able to go flying to the Misty Fjords. It was one of the most amazing things i have ever done in my life. Drew and Me were laughing and looking at each other the whole time we were taking off! We couldn't hear anything because we had the earphones on. But we kept making each other laugh which was probably a good thing because to be honest i was pretty nervous.
My personal favorite part of the whole trip was when we got to land up in Misty Fjords. I couldn't believe how beautiful it was. There were waterfalls everywhere!

Here are some pictures from the window of the plane.

This was the biggest waterfall i have ever seen in my life! I couldn't fit it all on the screen of my camera!
When we were taking off i saw this tug boat taking this house over by Ward Cove. I thought it was pretty sweet. The people who log will live in these homes and then they can take their homes with them when they go to different areas to work. Pretty sweet eh?

Jumping off the Dock

The weather was so nice this week! We all loved the sunshine. One day is was so nice that we decided to jump off the dock. I decided before i went that I was not going to jump because it was warm, but not that warm outside. However, everyone told me that the water wasn't even that cold. So i jumped too, and I'm going to tell you right now... that water was SO COLD!

This was the after effect of me jumping in. Below the picture is the wrong way but i could not get it the right way so I'm just going to leave it like it is.
