Cruisin'

Wow, it has been a while since i last wrote on my blog! It seems like just last week was August! Where did September or October go! I need to slow down so that i enjoy this beautiful fall season.

Last week me and Drew went with some friends on a Cruise to the Western Caribbean! It was so fun. We got to eat amazing food, lay in the sun, and not worry about anything.

Ok.... so just a little heads up there will be a lot of pictures!

This is one of the pools on our ship! This was the part of the ship that we spent most of our time. It has a huge screen TV so you could watch movies and swim at the same time (my personal favorite thing to do). Also the buffet, pizza place, and ice-cream stand was just below the TV so we definitely needed to be close to that.
This is cute Mandi and Jason who we went with! They are so awesome and we had a great time with them!

Grand Caymans

Our first stop was the Grand Caymans... and the water was amazing! We took a taxi to Seven Mile Beach. I have never been to such an amazing beach. The sand was so white and fine. We were in heaven!

I loved this place. I definitely want to come back, and spend a week on this beach!
Oh and there i am.... Long arms and all.

See how clear that water is!

Roatan, Honduras

Our next stop was Roatan, Honduras. We got off the ship and rented a car and drove all around the Island. This place was so green and beautiful. It also was such a huge eye opener for me. There is a lot of poverty here and it made me so grateful for everything i have been blessed with. It was fun to see their culture. Also it was fun to hear Drew talk some spanish again.

Talent.

This Lady was selling shoes on the side of the road.
A scenic view of Roatan.

Milk in the bag. Drew said this is also what he drank in Argentina. He said it wasn't that great tasting. I really looked like a tourist taking this picture.

Cozumel, Mexico

Here in Cozumel we got off the ship and rented some scooters! That was quite the adventure! Here is Mandi and Jason sporting their really bad smelling helmets.

I liked Drew's helmet the best.

Gomer on the back!

We drove a while down the road and came to some Mayan Ruins. They were really interesting but we really didn't learn to much about them because we didn't get a guide. But we got some great pictures:)

We drove a little bit further down the road and i found this guy. Yeah i don't know what i was thinking, but it was awesome while i was holding it. Now i look at it and i don't know what i was thinking!
Now for my favorite part of the trip! The waves in Cozumel were huge! I love to swim in big waves! The pictures don't really do it justice cause they don't really show you how big they got but they reminded me of Hawaii's waves! Should of got a surf board eh?

Loved the Coke in Mexico!

Bahamas

This day was pretty laid back and the weather was kinda bad so we didn't do much. We just kinda chilled on the beach, played in some seaweed water, and tried to get our last rays of sun before the trip ended.
THE END!
Sorry that was quite the long post! Love you all!

3 years

10 things i have learned about Drew while being married....

1. Drew is a good dancer. (I'm not talkin about twirling around, I'm talking hip-hoping good. haha he is going to love that I said that... not!)
2. Drew can make an amazing taco
3. He goes through phases of food. For example, he can absolutely love milk one month and go through 3 gallons a week and then all the sudden decides he doesn't like it anymore.
4. Drew is so good at making the best of any situation.
5. Drew doesn't think bad of anyone and always gives them the benefit of the doubt.
6. He is grouchy when he wakes up from naps.
7. Drew can always make me laugh, no matter how mad i am.
8. Drew really really really really likes to hunt and fish. (Oh and he just got a elk! Congrats to him, and to me.... i have to figure out how to cook it!)
9. Drew doesn't like his sheets tucked in by his feet.
10. Drew is my best friend.

Happy Anniversary babe! Best three years ever!

Going Greek

Hold me back.... I have found something new that i can't resist! And that something is GREEK YOGURT. Ok, now i know that most of you have tried greek yogurt before, but have you tried"The Greek Gods" Honey yogurt. You might just take one bite and think you died and gone to heaven. Yes its that good. Totally worth the money and totally worth the calories. And might i add that greek yogurt has 2 times the protein of regular yogurt. I wake up in the morning and can't wait for breakfast. Well, who are we kidding, i go to bed at night thinking about breakfast.

A Little Park City Adventure

Park City + Good food + Fun People= Good times

We went to the best pizza place ever. Adam (Drew's little Bro) got a pizza that came out looking like a salad. We all laughed about it when he got it, but it ending up being my favorite pizza of the night!
Good times on the elevator. Never a dull moment really.

We love our Toms! We all had them on the whole time! Seriously though, i have worn mine every day since i got them.

I had never been the to the Art Festival in the downtown area. It was amazing to see all the beautiful art.

Pretty much just scared to ride the alpine slide for the first time in my life. I laughed the whole time.

I have a new love for Park City.

A very needed update!

Hello! I feel like i haven't updated my blog for such a long time! The last time that I updated was around finals week and boy, am I glad that is over. This Summer has been a blast! We have been so lucky to stay here in Logan. Here is what is happening with the both of us....

Drew has been doing good! He is working a lot and enjoying working on his jeep. It is looking pretty sweet too! Also he is already getting excited for hunting season. He has already planned out a weekend for me and him to go! ha ha It will be an adventure. I haven't really experienced the whole hunting scene, so we will see how that goes... it will be hilarious!

As for me, nothing to new going on. Working a lot and enjoying fun activities outside. I am really trying to get into shape and eating right once again. I love the feeling of getting up in the morning and going for a run. There is just something about running in the mornings that makes my whole day so much smoother! However... its the getting out of bed part that kills me!

A couple of weeks ago I went on a road trip with my Mom and sister Estee. Estee was riding the triple bypass in Colorado, so we all jumped in her Subaru to support her long ride. Here are just some of the pictures from the trip. I loved the area we were in. Vail is so awesome! I wouldn't mind if we lived in that area. It is amazing! It was way fun too because i got to see some of my family that lives in Colorado that i don't get to see a lot.

This is a the end of the race. Cooper was so happy to be out of the car and able to crawl around on the grass.
This is where my Aunt lives. It was so awesome! She had the most amazing view ever.

All of my Aunts flowers are wildflowers. Here is a snap shot i took right before we left. I didn't edit this picture at all. The colors are amazing i think!
Estee did awesome on her ride. I'll tell you what... it made me want to buy a bike even more going to this event. It is my new goal. I would love to ride in the triple bypass next year with her. I better start training now! Its 120 miles and like a 10,000 ft. vertical climb!

I had fun taking pictures of cute little Cooper. He is the best baby!
Cooper, Me, and My Aunt Jeniel
We wrote some names of family and friends who were in the race on the highway. We had someone watching the cars and telling us when to move. It was a adrenaline rush cause the cars were coming so fast! The things we do for the riders. haha
Well i have some more the write about but this post would be way to long if i kept going. So i will write more soon! Hope everyone is doing good!

Moab Adventures

This weekend me and Drew took a short vacation and went to Moab. It was super fun! We were supposed to leave on Wednesday night, but ended up leaving a day later because it was crazy getting everything done with the jeep and school. When we finally got there it was such a relief and it was so nice to just relax. The first day we were there it was COLD! However, the day after that it was super warm and i was able to feel the wonderful sun. All in all we came home with a little bit of a tan and a jeep that didn't break. HALLELUJAH!

Drew has been working way hard to get his jeep finished for this trip. He is seriously so talented with working on jeeps! From new axles, tires, tube fenders, shocks, drive shafts and more... this jeep was done in speed time! (Aren't you impressed that i knew all those parts?)

The second day we went on Caine Creek trail (my personal favorite). Here is a picture of some of the guys.

Modeling Babes

We had a blast! Now i'm home though i'm way stressed about finals. Oh well, it was super fun and i'm glad we went!

Adventures of Spring Break

Today was such a beautiful day in Logan. Drew and I went on a walk and i officially felt hot while being outside for the first time in about 5 months. I felt pretty good about that. I love the winter and I'm still a little bitter about not getting BIG powder days but I'm excited for the warm air to start filling our valley. (And maybe these white legs can get a little sun!)

This last week was spring break for us and we ended up just staying in Logan. It was super fun. We didn't work a lot so we got to just spend time together doing fun stuff that we normally don't have time for. I LOVE not having to worry about school. I LOVE sitting down to watch a movie and not worry about when my next grant paper is due, or when my next physiology test is. This week was a stress free break, and let me tell you i needed it.

This week we went snowmobiling/skiing with my sister and her husband up at Tony Grove. It was super fun/scary. Well, I guess we could just say that it was super intense. Here is a video to show you how everything was going about halfway into the day... ha

It was good that Estee was there because we had a some great laughs. She is pretty much hilarious!

The rest of the week we chilled at the Rock Haus and played with friends and family. Climbing has become one of my favorite hobbies. If you think about it, it is kind of a weird sport... but it is very addicting! Welp, Spring break is officially over. Sad, but I guess it had to come sometime! Hope everyone is doing well!
